By watching TV serious every night while munching chips in the couch, I have successfully turned myself into a couch potato, even before I realized it. Now, it’s already spring. The winter nutrients disposition period should be ended. Well, well, that means I have to start the WEIGHT-LOSS PROGRAM.

Spring is always the best time for weight loss, because there are no heavy sweaters to hide under. You have to face the weight problem, or others will face it. So, the PROGRAM is should be on the schedule in any case.

As before, I’m quite confident to solve the weight problem, only if I stick to my PROGRAM. I made up the plan at the similar time of last year, and I made it before summer came. I conclude that three necessary things are required, they are: DIET, EXERCISE, and SCALE.

DIET

First, throw away all the junk food from the fridge, and throw in fruits, vegetables and yogurt instead.

It’s the season pros again, as you can find all sorts of great fruits and vegetables available in stores waiting for you to take them home. As for myself, I’m not a big fan of fruits and vegetables. But, for the success of my program, I have to make some concession to it. And with so many alternatives, I can always find some I like, such as tomatoes and pawpaw.

Apart from fruits and vegetables, which provide you low calories and vitamin, there’s another important role in my program, YOGURT. I like its taste, creamy, cooling, and a bit acid. It tastes better with the combination of fruit, especially pawpaw, my big favorite!

Yogurt has rich nutrition, including protein, calcium, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12. Its nutritional benefits are far beyond those of milk. And it has been proved by study that consumption of low-fat yogurt can promote weight loss. My experience is also a proof.

EXERCISE

There are two kinds of exercise I strongly advise, jogging and crunch. The common reason is that they are both easy to conduct. You need not any additional equipment, jogging in the park, and doing sets of crunch on your floor.

I like jogging because except for weight loss I can also gain friendship, knowing other runners or hanging out with friends, just like social activities. As aerobic exercise, jogging won’t make you overtired, but it will cost your unwanted calories of your whole body.

Unlike jogging, crunch is done inside. I usually do before bedding time. It’s quite effective for taking away the love handle. And exercise before bedding time could help me with my sleep.

SCALE

Why scale is one of the three necessary things for weight loss? Well, it’s not hard to understand. As weight loss is a long-term program, we must have perseverance. You can carry on for a week, but what about a month, or two months? Then, not sure? That’s why we need a scale, a weight watcher. I recorded my weight in my notepad every morning and evening. The fluctuation of the number could stimulate my determination to lose weight. So the scale is of course a necessary.

No pains, no gains. So, join my weight loss program. With the combination of DIET, EXERCISE, and SCALE (perseverance), the final success is just an issue of time.
